Keeping you safe & empowering you to act when dealing with abusive customers - Training Secured!


Your Union, Unite has been campaigning for a number of years on LBG worker safety, support and empowerment when faced with customer abuse. 


We have been working with the bank on this important issue and we are pleased to announce the launch of 8 training modules on Workday focusing on what is abuse, addressing abuse, vulnerability and abuse, mindset and wellbeing, reporting abusive behaviour, case studies and support for line managers. 


The training modules can be found on Workday by searching ‘Keeping colleagues safe when dealing with abusive customers - Telephony Colleagues or Team Managers’ 


We encourage all LBG workers to get time keyed out by speaking to your LM and completing all the training modules. Unite the Union has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to abuse and we support the empowerment of workers to report abuse, taking time to get support and ultimately the closure of customer accounts due to unacceptable and abusive behaviour.
