I'll repeat what I said on Viva Engage. I'm happy enough with the numbers if circumstances play out as predicted, however I'm not happy that the extremely high risk of that being wrong lies with colleagues. A war just started in the Middle East, I have zero confidence in inflation coming down to 2% any time soon. If the group is so confident in its forecasts then they should be happy to shoulder some of that risk themselves by adding a clause to cover an additional payment if aggregate inflation over the pay period exceeds, say 10%.
