60 MORE BRANCH CLOSURES

LBG have once again decided to close more of its bank branches - 60 in total. That's 60 communities that will no longer benefit from having a Lloyds, BOS or Halifax branch. Unite the Union continues to oppose all branch closures due to the real impact these closures have on local businesses, communities and the most vulnerable in society who truly depend on these services and will now face big inconveniences to their face-to-face banking needs.

Unite continue to push for job security, mobility and worker choice throughout LBG when faced with organisational change, and take satisfaction that all impacted workers who wish to remain with LBG will have a role and additional options will be discussed during 1-2-1s including understanding worker interest in voluntary redundancy.
